I would think that the 'Inviting' CLASSROOM would be a study in profound RESPECT AND CARING for the student, shown by the teacher - Demonstrable, visible Respect for the interests, background knowledge, learning modes, abilities and disabilities, questions and goals of the student.  As much as possible each student should be able to see him or herself reflected/addressed in the prepared lessons.

Secondly, the 'Inviting' CLASSROOM would demonstrate RESPONSIBILITY and be a model of inquiry and implementation of the best researched content and pedagogy.

Primary focus is on the Relationship, Listening and Respect by the Teacher ("Getting To Know You")
